Guest FAQs

Where Can I Park?

We have one parking lot with two entrances. Each are located off Country Club Road. One entrance is located on the sanctuary side of the church and the other entrance is located at the Education Building marked by the Church Office sign. Guest parking is marked and handicap spaces are available and are located at the base of wheelchair accessible ramps.

Once I park, where should I take my children?

A Nursery (for infant to Pre-K children), children’s space and youth space are located in the Education building. We have signs indicating the location of the children’s areas and we also have a volunteer who can help direct you to the right place.

What’s the atmosphere at Pleasant Hill?

We strive to be an authentic community and we recognize that we all come from different backgrounds. None of us are perfect, and you don’t need to be. Some come dressed casually and some wear suits and dresses. Come as you are.

What should I expect worship to be like?

Our worship follows a blended format. We follow a traditional order: we sing hymns and praise choruses, offer responsive readings and prayers and some of our songs are infused with a Southern Gospel and Bluegrass feel. We also incorporate contemporary elements: songs led on guitar, audio and video presentations on a screen. We blend times of reverent silence and reflection with warm and interactive elements, relevant preaching and an opportunity for children and teenagers to participate in worship.
